We have expanded our in-house ESR melting capacity for 35NCD16 (1.6773) steel, ensuring faster lead times for both 100-ton framework orders and 7-day trial batches.

As an integrated manufacturer and trading group, we have recently optimized our 3-ton and 5-ton Electroslag Remelting (ESR) lines to meet rising global demand for large-section 35NCD16 (1.6773 / 9160C) alloy steel.

Unlike pure trading companies relying on external mills, our self-operated ESR workshop guarantees an annual output of over 5,000 tons. This upgrade directly resolves the bottleneck for buyers who require large ingots with severe UT testing requirements.

Flexible Order Models

We now support two distinct procurement models:

  • Bulk Framework Orders: 100+ ton annual contracts for OEMs and heavy machinery manufacturers requiring stable, long-term supply.
  • Trial Batches: Urgent small-volume melts delivered in as fast as 7 working days for pre-production validation.

Regional Delivery & Compliance

To support global procurement teams, we have optimized our logistics and certification:

  • Europe: 15–30 days delivery via major ports, supporting CIF/DDP terms with full REACH compliance and EN 10228-3 UT reporting.
  • North America: Optimized FOB options and coordination with local third-party inspection agencies (SGS/TUV) for ASTM E2375 witness testing.

All materials are supplied with custom processing options including peeling, centerless grinding, and 100% UT inspection.

To ensure your PO specifications match your engineering requirements, please review our guide on 35NCD16 substitution risks and UT standards. You can also view the full technical specs on our 35NCD16 alloy steel product page.

FAQ

Q: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for a 7-day trial batch?

A: We can accommodate trial batches as small as 1 to 3 tons for urgent pre-production validation. This allows your engineering team to run machining and heat treatment tests before committing to a 100+ ton bulk framework order.

Q: What is the lead time for a 100-ton bulk framework order?

A: For our in-house ESR 35NCD16 production, a 100-ton order is typically scheduled within 30 to 45 days, depending on the required rolling/forging sizes and the current melt schedule.

Q: Can you arrange DDP terms for European buyers?

A: We primarily quote CIF for EU ports, but we can arrange DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) through our freight forwarders if your company requires a fixed landed cost. However, we highly recommend CIF so your local customs broker can handle the REACH compliance and VAT recovery directly.

Q: Do you support third-party witness testing for North American orders?

A: Yes. We regularly coordinate with SGS, TUV, or BV for third-party witness testing (including ASTM E2375 UT and mechanical sampling) at our factory, allowing you to secure your material without sending an inspector on-site.

Q: Can the 35NCD16 bars be supplied already peeled or centerless ground?

A: Yes. Our factory includes continuous peeling and centerless grinding equipment. We can supply large-section bars in black, peeled, or bright surface conditions to save your machining time and reduce transport weight.
