Alloy tool steel with high hardenability, high resistance to tempering, load and high hardness at elevated temperatures. The grade is distinguished by high content of Cobalt in its chemical composition. Steel is used for high speed tools for automatic forging and upset forging of bolts, nuts, bolt heads and rivets. The material is used to manufacture die inserts, press and forge stamps, as well as tools for forging rolling bearing rings.
Applications Hot pressing tools exposed to severe stresses in contact with the die insert - mandrels, stamps, punching tools, dies, etc. Physical properties (avarage values) at ambient temperature Modulus of elasticity [103 x N/mm2]: 210 Density [g/cm3]: 7.882.Product Application Areas:
