GB 20CrMnTi Alloy Carburizing Gear Steel Bar (equivalent to European standard 20MnCr5 and corresponding to AISI 5120) is a low-carbon alloy structural steel containing 0.17%–0.23% carbon, 1.00%–1.30% chromium, and 0.04%–0.10% titanium. Refined through vacuum melting and electroslag remelting (ESR) to eliminate inclusions, it achieves a carbide uniformity grade of ≥8 (GB/T 18254). After carburizing and quenching, the surface hardness can reach HRC 58–62, while the core retains toughness in the range of HB 220–260. This makes it ideal for manufacturing gears, shafts, and high-strength structural components requiring excellent wear resistance and fatigue strength.
