8620 Hot Rolled Steel Bar Supplier

8620 alloy structural steel bar is a type of low-alloy high-strength steel, belonging to the Ni-Cr-Mo series alloy steel. It exhibits excellent hardenability, weldability, and machinability. After appropriate heat treatment (such as carburizing, quenching and tempering), it can achieve a balance of high hardness, high wear resistance, and good toughness. It is widely used in machinery manufacturing, automotive industry, and other fields with strict requirements on material performance.

Chemical Composition (Mass Fraction, %)

Element Content Range
C (Carbon) 0.18-0.23
Si (Silicon) 0.15-0.35
Mn (Manganese) 0.70-0.90
P (Phosphorus) ≤0.035
S (Sulfur) ≤0.035
Ni (Nickel) 0.40-0.70
Cr (Chromium) 0.40-0.60
Mo (Molybdenum) 0.15-0.25
Cu (Copper) ≤0.30

Functions of Core Elements:

Carbon (C): Enhances the strength and hardness of the steel, providing a foundation for heat treatment strengthening.

Nickel (Ni): Improves toughness, ductility, and low-temperature performance, and enhances impact resistance.

Chromium (Cr): Increases hardenability, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, and optimizes surface hardness.

Molybdenum (Mo): Refines grain size, improves high-temperature strength and temper resistance, and reduces temper brittleness.
