Characteristics
Corrosion Resistance: Exhibits excellent resistance to various corrosive media, particularly in reducing environments and alkaline solutions. Effectively prevents chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking in iron-based alloys. Offers good corrosion resistance in organic acids such as acetic acid and moderate resistance in inorganic acids. Additionally, it resists corrosion from dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride gases.
High-Temperature Resistance: Maintains high strength and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures, withstanding low loads at temperatures up to 1100°C. Suitable for manufacturing oxidation-resistant components.
Processing Properties: Can be strengthened through cold working, possesses good formability, and exhibits properties similar to low-alloy steel. It is easy to weld and can be joined using resistance welding, fusion welding, or brazing. The alloy can be easily forged or machined into various shapes and sizes.
